Charles E. Brown Fellowship Award
2009-2010

The Charles E. Brown Fellowship awards program offered by the NTA enables the NTA members who are selected to be released from one to five days from tegular duties iwthout loss of pay to pursue a particular educational project.

Types of Projects:

1. Academic study and research
2. Development of professional tools, equipment and materials
3. Professional study and research
4. Advancement of professional association work and leadership

Criteria for Selection:

The review board will consider the future benefits to:

1. The children of Newton
2. The teachers and professional staff of Newton
3. And/or the teaching profession in general

Deadline

COMPLETED APPLICATIONS MUST BE RECEIVED AT THE NTA OFFICE BY
4:00 PM ON WEDNESDAY, FEBRAUARY 10th

Announcement of Awards

The winners of the 2009-2010 Charles E. Brown Fellowships will be announced the week of February 22nd.

Completion Dates

All fellowships granted in school year 2009-10 must be used between March 1st and June 4th, 2010
